Can I change my order?
We delay processing orders for at least 24 hours for this very reason, so if you require to make changes, please call our Customer Service team on (07) 3262 6888 as quickly as possible!
Can I check the progress of my order?
An order confirmation email will be sent to you with a button to view your order. By clicking the button, you will be taken to your order to view its progress.
What is the difference between installing within the reveal or on the face of the window?
The most popular method of installation is within the reveal of the window frame. If however there is insufficient depth within the reveal, the alternative is to install on the face. The frame around your window is called an architrave and the architrave is commonly use to mount a blind as a face fit. Please see the diagrams below to help you understand the 2 options.
Do you custom make the blinds to fit my window?
Yes all Veneta Blinds are custom made to fit only your particular window.
Can I come and see your products?
We are an online business created to keep prices low. For that reason we do not have expensive showrooms or In home Consultants. We do however offer free sampling of our materials which are cut from the same materials that you will eventually order. Please feel free to explore our free samples and select from our range.

Can I trust the colours on my screen?
There will always be a degree of colour variation between different screens and monitors. We recommend ordering free colour samples to ensure you will be satisfied with your selection. Simply go to our Sample page click here to see the complete list of samples by product.
What is the best blind for insulation?
Studies have shown us the Honeycomb Double Cell Blind has the best insulation properties of modern blinds. The double cells create air locks and have a distinct advantage over other blinds on the market. Roman blinds when ordered with a thicker fabric and blackout lining offer an excellent level of insulation. Our Phoenixwood Venetian blinds also rate highly due to their timber composition and tiny air pockets creating a more natural insulation barrier. Any of our blackout fabric blinds will always do a great job of insulating your home. More information can be found under the specifications for each of the products.
What do you mean by child safety?
Many household items hold an imminent danger to children or pets. Approximately 1 child every year dies in Australia of strangulation from blind cords and chains. Blinds for Veneta that have cords or chains come with safety devices that meet the legislative requirements to prevent such an event. Veneta also offers a range of cordless blinds to overcome this issue. Australian Law now states 'To avoid creating a possible strangulation hazard for children, the corded internal window covering must be installed in such a way that a loose cord cannot form a loop 220mm or longer at a height of less than 1600mm above floor level. A cord/chain guide may be installed lower than 1600mm above floor level if the cord/chain is sufficiently secured or tensioned to prevent a loop 220mm or longer from being formed. If a cord/chain guide is installed lower than 1600mm above floor level it must be designed to prevent a child from being able to remove the cord. If a cleat is used to secure the cord, it must be installed at least 1600mm above floor level because a child is capable of unwinding a cord from a cleat. Why do I need to pay upfront?
All of Veneta Blinds products are custom made to suit your window perfectly. We cannot on sell a Custom made product as there are too many variations and it is very unlikely that your order will fit another Customers specifications.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Bank Deposit or Transfer and PayPal. We also have an affiliation with Zip money.
How secure is paying with my credit card online?
Only the latest and most secure technology is used to encrypt your personal information ensuring your security and privacy. At the bottom of each page you can see the verification for the security features on our website from GeoTrust and eWay.
How long before I receive my blinds?
Manufacturing is always consistent however Couriers can sometimes be overwhelmed with demand. Your order will be dispatched from our factory within 10 days from the date of your order. Tracking information will be presented to you to track the delivery.
How is my order delivered?
Our delivery partners are FedEx Express, which is one of the largest delivery services in the world. FedEx are affiliated with TNT so your goods may also arrive by TNT or with a smaller local carrier for regional areas.
Where do you deliver to?
Australia wide including Australia mainland and Tasmania!
What if no one is home?
If you are not home at the time of delivery, the driver will leave you a card with a FedEx telephone number to call and organise an appropriate time. Alternatively if you wish to provide an Authority to Leave please send an email to email@example.com quoting your order number, safest place to leave the packages and your authority.
My Blinds are damaged, what do I do?
Please click here to complete the Claim Application form. Include photos of the packaging and the blind to show the damage, along with the details of which blind is damaged. You have 14 days to claim transit damage, so please check even if you are not installing them straight away.

What do I need for Installation?
You'll need a drill with a 2mm bit and a Philips head bit, a pencil and a tape measure. This is all contained on the installation instructions.
Where can I find instructions?
Installation instructions are supplied with your blind and can be found in the box. Alternatively you can download and print the instructions or watch the animated video on the ‘How to Install' page.

What is your Warranty?
Our warranty is 5 years from the date of order and is generally a replacement warranty unless the fault is easily repaired. This covers instances if the blind fails to operate, has defects in the materials, workmanship, components, cords, internal mechanisms, then you are entitled to invoke your warranty.
